Fuku-Nusubi

Fuku-Nusubi

This item came from inside the Japanese pyramid just below the waters off Yonaguni Jima.  The pyramid is part of the ruins of an ancient Japanese culture that embraced the spirits and deities and used their powers as a means of survival.  Unfortunately, the city which the pyramid foreshadows, is no more.  It most likely was swept away as a result of a tsunami, such as the one we have recently seen devastate the Island nation of Japan.

The item was taken down into the sea during an investigation done by Adita.  It was anointed with the powers that are found within the Pyramid, which served as a spiritual temple in devotion of the ancient Chinese deities.  The power that was vested into this particular item was that of the wealth God, Daikoku.

Daikoku is one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune who brings wealth.  Belief in Daikoku led to a custom known as fuku-nusubi or theft of fortune.  The custom started with the belief that he who stole divine figures was assured a good fortune. I'm not sure where the belief came from, but one thing that is certain is that Daikoku has been proven to bless those that venerate him with a divine fortune.  This piece will not steal the wealth of others, but will attract wealth to your own life.  Wearing this piece will solidify your bond to Daikoku who will manifest his spiritual form in your existence to attract wealth and great fortune to your own life.  We are calling this our own form of Fuku-Nusubi.  Enjoy.
