Sometimes when you are born with everything, you don't really know how it feels to have nothing.  It makes you do crazy things.  Most of the time, this leads to eventual death or tragedy; however, sometimes it allows for one fateful door to be closed and another, even better one, to be opened.  Such is the case of Lord Lucan, whose friends call him Lucky.  His real name is is Richard John Bingham and he is the 7th Earl of Lucan.  He was born in 1934 and pampered with private education and rearing his entire life.  He built a notable career as a merchant banker, which seemed suitable for somebody of his prestige.  He built up quite a name for himself in local circles, but there was a darker side to Lucky as there is with anyone.  He loved to gamble and he developed gambling into an addiction.
In 1963 Lucan was married to to Veronica Duncan, with whom he would father three children.  Shortly after his marriage, Lucan's father died leaving behind him a substantial amount of wealth, along with the family titles.   It seems as though this might have been the perfect scenario for Lucan and his family.  With that being said, he continued his gambling problem.  He gambled so much that it became an issue with his marrige and in 1972 he found his marriage on the rocks.  He moved out of the marital home in the upmarket Belgavia Area of London.  Shortly after, Veronica filed for custody of their children.  A bitter court battle ensued.  Veronic won.  Lucan was devastated.  He turned to gambling to comfort his soul.
In the months that follow, you might say that his friends could have stopped calling him "Lucky".  Lucan quit his job as a banker to become a professional gambler.  That didn't work out for him too well and before long he had squandered nearly all of the inheritance he had received from his father.  He sometimes owed debts of up five figures per night.  Money and loan sharks began coming after him.  In his disheveled state, he slipped away to the only place that he could have thought to hide-- Africa!  I mean, he probably was spot on with that.  Nobody every thinks to look for somebody who was technically built in nobility in the wild in Africa; but that's where he was... for about a year.
While Lucan was there, he again became Lucky.  He hooked up with an African sorcerer who has been around for centuries.  After hearing his story, the sorcerer felt bad for lucky and took him in under his wing.  The sorcerer taught Lucky a form of magic that combines Zoroastrianism with the Vodun beliefs of the native African peoples.  Lucky stayed her learning this magic until one night when he decided to return to England for his final quest in becoming like exactly like the sorcerer.  As a side note, the sorcerer had transformed himself into an immortal vampire, not a sanguine that requires the constant consumption of blood, but an energetic vampire, who requires magic and spiritism to survive.  It's basically the same thing as a Voodoo vampire, which practices the raw Voodoo magic of Africa, called Vodun, not the stuff they use in Louisiana.  It's similar but it is the original.  Anyway, the Vampire Awakening process still requires a blood sacrifice in order to activate the full powers of your vampirism.

Lucky traveled back to England, intending to kill his ex-wife and scoop up his children to take them to Africa with him.  However, the plan went awry when he accidentally killed the babysitter, because she was there on an abnormal night of the week.  She had just gone down into the basement kitchen to prep a hot drink for her and Veronica when she was bludgeoned to death with a lead pipe.   Lucky then attacked his wife, but was fought off because he couldn't kill her.  Long story short, Veronica called the cops, a multinational investigation ensued, and Lucky escaped back to Africa, where he joined up with his vampire-sorcerer friend.  He had gathered blood from the babysitter-- enough to do his blood rite and to officiate his transformation.  The hunt has never turned up a result for Lucan, even though there have been many reported sightings.  I doubt that even if they do find him, there will be much of anything they can do, given the strength and multitude of his new power.
As a testament to his newborn power, right after his transformation, Lucan made several pieces.  These pieces embody all that a person needs to undergo their own transformation.  You won't even need to kill anyone to get their blood.  This piece was made so close to the inception of Lucan's vampiric existence, that the blood part is already taken care of.  All you need to do with this piece is merely wear it and the powers of transformation will inhabit your body.  You will be given transformation and the full power of a sanguine vampire transformation, without ever having to replenish with blood.  To make yourself stronger, you will feed off of the energies of the world around you.  They are what provide you with the ability to make magic, cast spells, etc.  We have one the items that was made by Lucky; only one though, so once it is gone, it is gone.  This piece will give you the vampire transformation you've always dreamed about, without having to drink the blood of other people!  With this piece you will be able to live above mortal life and feed off the energies of the world to use your powers-- which will be identical to those that a sanguine has!  You will not be disappointed!
This ring is sterling with a burning orange stone that is the center of the power source. The size is 7 and a half but almost an 8.
