Morocco Djinn
As you all know, I am a very sociable person. I enjoy going out of my way to make sure that everybody has a friend and I am constantly fighting for the underdog. It makes sense then, that this past semester I befriended an exchanged student who is new to my college. I took him under my wing and tutored him to excellence, assisting him in obtaining a “b” average in Tuesday night class that we had together.
His name is Inaff and he comes from Morocco, and it seemed only natural that I help this boy succeed, because I am constantly sharing my gifts with the world. Poor Inaff came here on a one way ticket from Morocco as an exchange student, hoping to obtain a better education than what is offered in his country. He was struggling, so I helped him, which apparently is a big deal in his country, because when his parents found out, they showered me with gifts.
What I got was more than what I bargained for, but this is the case sometimes when good karma is upon you. As it happens, Inaff's parents a registered in a covert society that partakes in a form of magic that has extended from the once vast Egyptian empire that consumed much of the northern part of the African continent. They consider themselves gatekeepers of their form of magic, because it is unique and no other sect of sorcerers or magicians can claim the abilities that this masonic order can.
The magic comes from pact the the group forged with the Gods, stating that the price they must pay for their ability, is living in servitude to the Gods causes, carrying out their diving nature and holding their most holy secrets. They are to protect these secrets from mainstream society, because society cannot handle the powers and would have the potential to destroy themselves if they fall into possession of this powers.
Here it comes, the interesting part. The power that they have, and which is forged into the piece that you see here, is the ability to create djinn to carry out an various aspect of magical fortune that they chose to create it for. For instance, they sent me a djinn of success one time, and I aced one of my final exams. One time they sent me a djinn of good fortune and I won $1000 on a $1 lottery ticket. The possibilities are endless as the Gods make these powers omnipotent and omnipresent.
The family's final gift to me, was bestowing upon me the powers held by their covert society. I am currently able to create djinn for any purpose that I deem acceptable, there are no limits.
