Heavenly Healing<br /><br />

This experience took place about 8 years ago to June Moyer, who lives in Boston.<br /><br />

June's grandson was only six months old at the time; he was very sick and was in the hospital with needles and tubes inserted in various parts of his body. He had been vomiting for days on end, dehydrating. The cause was unknown, but he was getting worse.<br /><br />

June's daughter and her husband were glued to his bedside, but exhaustion was beginning to set in. That is when June decided to pray.<br /><br />

June walked over to the heirloom crucifix that her great-grandmother had brought with her from Ireland, and prayed; this cross traveled to the home of anyone who was ill, or in this case the hospital where healing was needed. She asked God to please send her grandson, Jayden an angel and to heal him. She then left to go home for the evening.<br /><br />

The next morning,  she packed a few things to take with her to the hospital; it was a beautiful, sunny July afternoon. June got to the hospital and sent her son and daughter-in-law home so they could shower and get a bit of sleep.<br /><br />

The hospital room was so dark and dismal. Even with the curtains open, it didn't seem to allow much light into the room.<br /><br />

Suddenly the door opened and without anyone turning on the light switch, the room brightened. In walked a small-framed woman, perhaps in her early 50s. What struck June first was how the room lit up, but then she noticed that the woman was dressed in clothes from the 1940s. She wore dark glasses, had dark hair swept up in a nice, but conservative hairstyle, and wore a black dress. <br /><br />

June said hello and asked her if she was the doctor. She did not answer her, but walked right up to the baby, picked him up and cradled him in her arms. She smiled at him and then slowly placed him back in his bed. She then rubbed his head and rubbed his belly. I watched in silence.<br /><br />

She turned to me, smiled and said, "He will be fine." She turned around,and then walked out the front door.<br /><br />

June immediately called her daughter and asked if that was Jayden's doctor? Her daughter said that Jayden had a male doctor, but she would call the nurses' desk. The nurse on duty told her that no one went in or out of that room but June!<br /><br />

The baby was released from the hospital the next day -- he was miraculously better.<br /><br />

When June was helping gather the belongings from the hospital room, she went over and picked up Jayden's blanket from the bassinet and this piece fell out of it.<br /><br />

This piece had to have been placed by the mysterious woman. June contacted Haunted Curiosities and shared her story. We were granted access to the piece and were able to conclude that it is a spirited healing amulet. <br /><br />

The mysterious woman was the spirit of Shelia Wright, she was a Civil War nurse who was known as the 'Nurse Angel.' She was known for saving the lives of soldiers; even those in very bad shape --- she was noted as a miracle worker. <br /><br />

June's prayers picked up the travels of Shelia's spirit and she endowed her healing work upon Jayden.<br /><br />
