Pegasus-- Powers of the Gods
If we look back in history, one of the most celebrated creatures of all times was Pegasus. He was birthed from his Gorgon mother, Medusa, after Perseus beheaded her. He was taken in by Zeus and had the responsibility of carrying Zeus' thunderbolt. Eventually, Pegasus was captured by Bellerophon with the help of Athena and his father, Poseidon, who asks Pegasus' permission to ride him. Pegasus gives his permission and is instrumental in the demise of the monster Chimera. Afterwards, Bellerophon decided to become brave and ride him up to the top of Mount Olympus. Half way up, he fell off. To prevent Pegasus from being captured and ordered to take any mortal to the top of Mount Olympus, he put Pegasus in the sky as a constellation.<br /><br />
This piece was created by a Greek Pagan. It was sent to me by a group in Greece that sutdies the paranormal, who couldn't seem to crack the case.
