TOUCHED BY A SHADOW
Touched by a shadow
The piece that you see here comes from my own personal experience. I received the piece as a result that I had with a spirit from the afterlife—one that is known as a shadow person. In case you weren’t away, a shadow person is something that you might experience travelling down a hallway or walking through walls. They are spirits that are here for a split second and gone. They may have a purpose; they may not have any purpose at all. They are the things that go “bump” in the night and nobody really knows why they were allowed to stay behind, but they were.
I had my first, very brief run-ins with shadow people in my grandparents’ house, which ironically is right across from one of the biggest cemeteries in the county in which I live. At first, it terrified me, but as I grew and my psychic ability advanced further and further I started to become less afraid and more curious. It is my most recent encounter with one of these spirits that has yielded the piece that you see below.
I was lying in my bed, when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I wasn’t sure what it was at first, so crawled out of my bed to see what it was. Whatever it was, began to take full form in the corner, until there was a spirit looming over me, approximately six and a half feet tall. I felt paralyzed like I couldn’t move. As much as I wanted to scream, I was just as curious as to what was going on. I’ve had plenty of spiritual encounters, but none such as this.
The spirit just loomed there, with me in my dead-weight state of paralysis. It glared into my eyes with orange-red eyes that seemed to scan my soul and know my innermost thoughts. Just when I felt like I couldn’t take the heaviness anymore, the spirit began to shrink… and shrink… and shrink. When the spirit wasn’t more than three feet tall, it relinquished its one me. Eventually, the spirit dissipated into nothing more than a shadow and disappeared.
In the exact place where the spirit once stood is the piece that you see below. I immediately took it to my coworkers so that way they could help me out with this one. It took a while to decipher this piece, but once we did, we were surprised to realize that what the spirit was doing wasn’t a bad thing, rather, it was the spirits way of bestowing a gift.
This piece holds magic from the afterlife. It is more like a divination from those souls who have moved on, but have not yet crossed over.
