Tears of the Phoenix

I picked this piece up at a gas station. I was driving home one night, and not surprisingly, I got lost. As I was finding my way back, I drove down an unlit road. As I neared a bend in the road, I noticed a mom and pop gas station on the corner. I figured they'd be closed because of the time of night it was; however, they were open... lucky me.

I stopped in, asking the owner if they could point me in the right direction. To my dismay, the owner of the gas station was a little old Chinese man and didn't speak much English at all. He kept on asking me if I needed gas. I told him that I needed directions. He didn't understnad. The whole situation was confusing.

After about ten minutes of going back and forth, a second Chinese person emerged from a door from behind the register. It was a Chinese woman. She was slightly taller than the old man, but just as old. She smiled and then asked me if she could help me. She spoke broken English, but it was enough to point me in the right direction. Before I left she gave me this piece. She went on about something having to do with wealth and good luck. I didn't really care anymore, simply because I wanted to get home.

I eventually arrived home, and when I got there, I set the piece that the old lady had given me on my dresser. That night I had a vision. In my dream, I was taken to a desert. I'm not really sure where it was. Far off I saw something glistening in the sun. As it got closer I could make out its silouhette. It was a Phoenix.... a GIANT phoenix. As I watched, it landed and perched upon a lone tree that was sprouting up out of the barren land.

The next thing I know, the whole bird went ablaze and in the course of the action, a newer, younger bird took its place. It flew over me, singing a beautiful song. It was crying and its tear drops fell on me. This is when I woke up and when I did I noticed that the piece the old Chinese woman had giving me was glowing resiliantly from across the room.

The following day, I ran some tests. The consensus is that the piece that the Chinese woman had given is a good fortune and wealth piece. It holds the tears of the sacred Phoenix, known to Chinese people as Fenghaung. The tears of the Phoenix will react with the your genetic make up, forging it's wealth and success within you, guiding you along the path that is your life.
