In Exeter, PA, which is right down the road from Wyoming, PA, 'The Battle of Wyoming' occurred. Our home office is only a few hours from this area.
Many think that the area in Exeter where a townhouse community was built, is where the dead from the battle were buried.
Exeter was used as an escape route and for medical treatment There is a ghost that lives in a townhouse that sets on top of the burial grounds.
We were called upon by a resident of one of the apartments to come check out the chaos.
In the home in which we went to investigate, they have a library set up in the spare room. They have had books fly out at them and a lion bookend roared at them. They also said that anything they place in the room ends up being somewhere else when they go back for it.
There is only a couple that lives in this place and they have been freaked out by the occurrences. Beth and Randy are the couple and Beth has a doll collection that she had placed across the top of the bookshelves. All the dolls faced straight ahead toward the opposite wall across the room.
The day after she put them up, she went back to discover that all the dolls were now facing toward the door; she was scared. She knew Randy wouldn't do that, and also you needed a ladder to reach the tops of the shelves and Randy took it out to the shed the night before, after she was finished setting them up.
We set up our equipment to monitor the room and the couple moved out for 3 days while we studied the paranormal activity.
We did a thorough scan of the entire room and took tons of pictures to make sure that we would notice if anything later became out of place. There is a closet in that room that has a lock on the door. We opened it up to check out the contents of the closet, but then closed and locked it. It later opened on its own!
When we were downstairs, getting things ready, we heard something fall, but when Steve looked around up stairs, nothing had fallen or was misplaced at all. Almost every time there is a silent moment in the house, you could hear footsteps in the upstairs rooms.
This unit we investigated is the end unit home, so we knew it was not the neighbors moving about because the library room is on the opposite side that is connected to any other home.
Beth and Randy said that the worst time of the year for ghostly activity is around the anniversary of 'The Battle of Wyoming'. That is when everything really starts going crazy.
